    Hello,

Are there any Water Lily experts out there, that can help me name these beautiful (to me) Water Lilies? They are so photogenic, I can never get bored snapping pictures of them! If you don't know the names, then I hope you enjoy viewing them as much as I enjoy sharing them with you.

Thanks in advance for your help!

All three are tropical water lilies (Nymphaea spp.) if that helps.

The problem with water lilies is that they are often hybridized and the species are somewhat rare in cultivation. Anyways, the middle one might be Nymphaea x daubenyana, while the right one seems to be a cultivar of Nymphaea nouchali var. caerulea.

Great news! I got a response back from the Botanical Garden. It had been a while, so I thought they were not going to respond (hence my request for help here). Anyway they said:

The blue one is (should be) Nymphaea ‘Empress’
The deep pink one is Nymphaea ‘Bull’s Eye’
The “white” one is Nymphaea ‘Green Smoke’

Wanted to share with you, so now we know the names too in addition to Nymphaea. Thank you again abgardeneer and Axel!
