I have a Bur Oak which is three years old in my yard. Bulbous growths have appeared on the branches last year and again this year. A little research has identified these as cynipid wasps galls and they are growing on the branches and not the leaves. I removed one from the tree and opened it up exposing a tiny larva. Should I be concerned about them or the many ants that are enjoying their existence? Thanks
