Identification: Washi-no-o? Mid-season cherry, single white flowers?

    I found an unknown cherry, which looks like Oshima.
    Its flower is simple, pure white, and just start to bloom.
    It is located at 2680 West 50 Ave, Vancouver, among Akebono & Accolade.

    I copied this here to discuss the ID before I looked for photos of what was my guess, which is 'Washi-no-o'. I see that in the Kerrisdale thread last year, I did call it that. Here's the posting:

    These photos don't show the red calyces of the flower photo in our book, but they seem to be more red in my photo last year. Short pedicels, wavy and ragged-edged leaves, rangier habit than oshima-zakura.
    Well, now I see that you posted it as 'Washi-no-o' in 2010!
