Took a day off today to entertain some out of towners, went to Capilano Suspension bridge, dropped $20 per person and had a great time. The new tree walk is a wonderful attraction, to everyone, not just arborists.

In North Vancouver. It should also be noted that one river valley over, there is another suspension bridge, Lynn Canyon, which is in a regional park and is twenty dollars cheaper (i.e., free).

I jumped off the Lynn Canyon suspension bridge a number of years ago, I'll have to find the picture of that momentous occasion....

I stood on the edge of the bridge for at least ten minutes contemplating what I was about to do as the water was not very deep at that time of the year.

It does look like I'm streaking, doesn't it. Miniscule Speedo's were popular in those days.
I straightened out my legs before I hit the water, but failed to tuck my right arm in on time and ended up with quite a bruise on the underside of my forearm.
Been there, done that, wouldn't do it again though!
