viridis or waterfall?

    we just bought a japanese maple from a nursery and wanted an acer palmatum viridis,when we got home we found a tag on the tree and it stated it was a waterfall,is there any way to tell the difference? some sites say waterfall leaves are red? some say green? this has green leaves its about a 20 gallon plant.how do i tell the difference

    'Waterfall' has green dissected leaves. 'Viridis', a dissected green leaf also, but habit and leaf shape may vary from different growers. More info can be found in "The Maple Photo Gallery", this site.
