I live in southern Michigan and these pop up in my mother's lawn all the time! I love this one's coloring (the pretty blue, violet, and yellow) and would like to plant some of my own. I would like to know the name of these and if anyone knows where I can buy some?
    Thanks so much!

Thanks for the reply. I've seen the name "Johnny Jump-up" for several different color variations of this flower... is there any special name for the one in the picture's particular coloring?
    Thanks

    Mis MAYHEM,
Do what I did. Take a dixie cup and a paring knife out into your Mother's lawn and carefully cut out a couple of plants and take them home and plant them. They will multiply as is their nature. There are several types and colors of these, as my grandmother called them "baby faced panseys/violas". (Pansys have faces and violas don't)

hey everyone, thanks for helping with my question! I happened to find some of these at Lowe's. :) I'm gonna try planting them in pots and put em out on my balcony. Wish me luck!
