During a walk in the woods (Ottawa, Ontario), we came across this vine and I have not been able to identify it.

The stock was about 1 cm in diameter, winding around a fence. There didn't appear to be tendrils.

Thanks in advance for any help you can provide,

    Randy

Could this be Oriental Bittersweet Celastrus Orbiculatus ?
