We have a volunteer vine that is dark green with heart shaped leaves that is growing at an extraordinary rate. We do not know whether to pull it up or leave to hopefully grow up the brick side of the house. Any help would be appreciated.

It sounds like the very invasive weed, bind weed, or strangling dog vine. these will choke out other plants its best to dig out the roots and throw in the garbage don't even compost it because it will come back.

Maybe an Ipomoea (morning glory) species?

A photo would help a lot!

You are probably right as it grows so fast that it is scary. It looks like it could strangle a dog if he lay still long enough. We'll dispose of it! Thanks.

Dig out ALL the roots. And you may have to do that a couple more times before it's gone.
