Every year, early in the spring, the flowers are perfect and beautiful but as soon as the leaves come I see a very unhealthy shrub. The leaves curl and a lot of them are turning yellow. It doesn't get much water through the summer. It has mostly sandy soil with a lot of sun and a good circulation.
    a) Fertilizer? Should I amend the soil with something tasty?
    b) Aphids? I don't see any.

I am also including my Christmas Rose picture if anyone could tell me what to do with it as well?

    Thank you.

The puckering of the viburnum would be expected to be aphids, the discoloration might be bacterial leaf spot.

I don't see any aphids at all.
