Has anyone ever seen this plant? I've been told it is an 'old' plant but no one seems to know the name of it. In the summer, it has a very large red "bird of paradise type" bloom. It is a very interesting flower, but I'd like to know more about it. Thanks for any information.

Thank you all so much. I've since researched this now that I know the name and am very excited to have gotten a start of it!
