Can anyone give me some advice as to what vegetables I can plant now, which I can harvest either later in the fall or next spring? I am in Coquitlam.

hello, thank-you for using the botanical garden forums. There are a number of vegetable that can be planted at this time of the year for fall and spring harvests. Here at the food garden I plant brussel sprouts, kale, sprouting broccoli, cauliflower, winter cabbage, kohlrabi, leeks and collards, also you can direct sow things like radishes, mesclun greens, broad beans and also some of the chinese vegetables such as tah tsai and the small pac choi ching chiang. Its a little late now but a july sowing of peas will give you a fall crop.
Come by the food garden any weekday and i would be happy to show you what we are doing any answer any questions.
    Tony
