I live in a residential area where a nearby rail line is located. I have been finding that the noise is increasing as well as vibration from the rail line. In the spring, I plan on doing a complete landscaping job on my property as it is only a year old. What vegetation is the best means of blocking sound and vibration?

Any and all suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

It doesn't. You need something more solid, like a berm or wall.

Hi edge and welcome to the forum. Try "noise" in the search box in the dark green bar across the top of the page, then follow a few of the threads on landscaping for noise control.
