do you know any variety that grows well in hot climate? our temperature is from 20 degrees to 35 degrees celsius..
We can grow the longer white radishes in warmer weather in Florida. Not in the really hot weather, but Daikon and icicle radishes can stay in the ground longer before bolting. They do get hotter tasting with the increase in the temperature though. So look for long rather than round radishes, and white rather than red or black.
thank you soo much! i tried the mingho variety without much success, and i just planted the white icicle yesterday ( actually i also planted another pot of mingho just to try it again,i mightsucceed in planting them). they are yet to sprout but imso positive that i will succeed this time:) . when i was 13 i remember planting and harvesting white radish in our province, and it was summer then....so im hoping i will succeed again this time...for me radish are so fascinating to grow.:)
