Location: VanDusen Gardens, Floral Hall. Doors open at 7 pm. Douglas Justice, Head of Horticulture and Curator of Collections, UBC Botanical Garden Douglas’ talk this month is a travelogue with a rhododendron flavour, based on a very recent trip to Tibet. The talk chronicles his recent botanical exploration along the Tibet-Sichuan highway, following the Yarlung Tsangpo (ultimately the Brahmaputra in India) and its tributary rivers as they flow through southeastern Tibet. With his engaging style, this is a talk not to be missed.
