Saturday October 29 at 1pm, Beaty Biodiversity Museum is doing a mushroom walk. Details below.

"Do you know where to look to find the dozens of mushrooms species that call our campus home? Join the Beaty Biodiversity Museum’s Fungi Curator Mary Berbee to learn more about how to identify different mushroom types and where to look for them.

Meet at the museum for instructions on what to look for and then embark on an hour long walk in small groups around campus where you will collect your own specimen. The groups will meet back at the museum and vote for their favourite fungi!
To ensure the best experience for all, this event has a capacity of 60 people. 40 tickets will be made available on Event Brite for pre-registration starting at 12:00 pm on Wednesday October 12: Pre-register for Beaty Mushroom Walk

We will accept walk-in registration on October 29th for this event starting at 12:30 pm. Anyone who pre-registers will need to check-in by 12:45 pm to claim their spot. All guests, whether they pre-register or not, will need to have a museum membership or pay admission for the day."
