Using photos from media gallery instead of uploaded to the thread

I think by accident, Mariko uploaded her photos in this posting to the Media Gallery, then linked to them from there. I needed to tell her to make them public, but now I like the way they look in the posting.
Identification: - Is this Kanzan or not?
An advantage for people who wanted to always do it that way would be that they would have all their photos together.

Daniel, is there a system reason that would make that not a good idea?

 

I think what you are describing is kind of the point of the Media Gallery. People can keep all of their own photos in one place, then add them to threads as they see fit.
