For all that are looking for containers for upside down tomatoes, I called a local commerical cleaning company because they buy their products in 5 gal pails. They were more than happy to give me all the pails I wanted instead of throwing them in the trash. A good cleaning and they are perfect containers. I'm giving mine a light sanding and will be painting them(on the outside) and stamping on decorative things like butterflies, or Ivy any number of things. This way of getting containers will help save enviro and money:-)

It's great to recycle. I would be a little concerned about the toxicity of the chemicals that had been in the buckets. I would look for buckets that had held food products and then you wouldn't need to be concerned.
