Unusual yellow violet

    Can anyone help with this violet? Seen on a dry foothills ridge at about 7,000 ft (2130 m) in Colorado Front Range. Our usual yellow violet here is V. nuttallii, which does not have pubescent leaves or as much dissection as this.

    Any clues would be greatly appreciated.
