I came across a couple of mushrooms that I haven't seen before, and was wondering if I could have some help with identification.

When identifying mushrooms, it helps to know the environment in which they were found.
Were they growing in soil or logs?
If logs, what species of tree?
If soil, what was the soil like, sandy? humus?
What trees were nearby in the soil?
What was the altitude at which they were found?
    What part of the world/country?

Just guessing, the 2nd might be Cortinarius of some sort.

The second was found growing on dead birch wood (trees in the area were predominately birch), the second just at the base of a pine tree (this time with mostly pine trees in the surrounding area) - there was a lot of moss around so I didn't get to have a good look at the soil type. Other information pertaining to both:

    Country: Scotland
    Altitude: 1028 ft
