I had transplanted this tree from a forest and at first it looked like a honey locust because the leaves got tiny at first but now they recovered and the leaves are bigger. So I don't know what it is.Please help.

It is likely a white ash (Fraxinus americana) or green ash (Fraxinus pennsylvanica).

Removing plants from the wild is generally discouraged unless the land will be developed, in which case you still must seek permission from the landowners.

Thanks. I had owned that land before but I sold it and they will be putting houses in. I had asked to take it out so I could save the tree.It was the only one there.
