We have a strange flowering plant in our garden but do not know what it is. The leaves are small oval in shape ( about 15mm long ), and some are opposite, but other leaves are alternate. They are olive green in colour and shiny on top side. Branches are woody and the whole plant is about ( 6ft ) 1.8 metres in height with about 1.5 metre spread. The flowers are yellow and bell shape with long stamens with five petals ( maybe 6 ..)The flower looks similar to an Orchid with bright yellow stamens and one long light green stem in the centre of the flower.
