Hi, Attached is a second plant that I am trying to identify. Any help would be greatly appreciated. This one has sprouted up on several different areas on the property. I was wondering if it was an ornamental grass. Thanks, Hal
I'm thinking those look like the leaves of a day lily (hemerocallis) possibly something like stella d'oro. See the link for comparison.... http://www.grassrootgardens.com/look-whats-blooming-today/hemerocallis-daylily_stella-d-oro/
I agree with Daniel. Possibly a sedge or a rush. Luzula? https://www.google.co.uk/search?q=L...OczJOYqKgbgB&ved=0CAgQ_AUoAQ&biw=1536&bih=703 Liriope and Hemerocallis do not just sprout up in different areas. When it has any flowering stem do add pics.
HalM, could you carefully dig up one of the plants without doing any damage to its roots and post the picture here?
