unknown plant

    This plant seeded itself it is quite large it has tiny compact white flowers which then turn into these very neat looking berries which resemble blackberries tight on the stem I am worried that it is posinous as we have young grandchildren if possible could some one help need to know what it is and how to get rid of it.

    In other words "further information required". Is it woody or herbaceous? What do the leaves look like?

    Possibly Phytolacca americana, but the pic isn't clear enough to tell for sure.

    Yes, yet another pokeweed. Many others have asked about this species on the internet.
