Hi everyone! My friend gave me this plant before she moved out of town. All she told me was it a light loving plant, so I've had it in my bathroom ever since. I don't think it's doing so well (I've had it since July and it's not growing at all). I would really like to ID it and find the proper care. I really like it and I want it to look good! Thanks so much!

looks kind of like the croton i have. same leaf structure and stem/trunk/stalk.

if it is a croton, they don't like to be soggy...just consistantly moist. and indirect sun is best. as long as it's not getting sun directly on it, it should be fine. if it is getting sun right on it, move it to the side of the window.

Thank you so much. After a bit more searching I have found a few pictures of what it resembles. I guess once it gets back to health I can identify it by it's non-Latin name but I have a few to play around with now! Now one to reading more about it! Thank you again!
