    Hi,

    It's Hedera helix, English Ivy.

Try "hedera helix culture" or "cultivation" on internet, should get lots. Sites talking about house plants would be most pertinent, others may talk only about growing it outdoors, in the ground.

Just watch ivy outdoors. In some areas it is a noxious weed that takes over whole forests.

    Liz
who loves the stuff but has had to eradicate it becuse of it's escapeologist tendancies.

Agree with Chris - this is not ivy. It doesn't show the leaf base structure typical of ivy.

Yes, I thought it might be a Senecio also but left it alone as I couldn't say which one it might be or specify why it wasn't an ivy. And the particular Senecio I was thinking of has duller leaf surfaces.
