This "plant" has started growing in my flower bed along with the perinnials that I planted. Can anyone tell me what this plant is or if it's some kind of fungus? It's starting to spread so I just want to make sure that it's not going to ruin what I have planted. Thanks so much!

It sure looks like a fungus. The folks down in Fungus and Lichen ID will probably be able to help you with an exact name and tell you if it will harm your plants.

Bird's-nest fungus. Saprophytic, so I think your perennials will be OK. You might clear out a few of the fungi, so that the plants will have room to come up...you've got quite a crop of nests there!

A species of Cyathus or of Crucibulum. Fascinating fungi!
