Unknown plant --Babys Breath?

    This plant was found on the coast of maine. It is blooming now (August) and has tiny purple and white flowers, probably 1/8'' to 1/4'' size.

    It has arching stems that are about 3'4' long, the stems are hollow, and sturdy. I have uploaded some pictures. (They are not great..)

    It really does looks like a babys breath in terms of the flower, but not the leaves.

    Yes, certainly not baby's breath.

    Would it possible to get a shot of the leaves that is a bit more in focus? Do you have a scanner? A good scan of those flowers would also help - they're just fuzzy enough in the image to possibly be a few things.
