Found in Colorado yesterday. There were a large group growing together, and they have a white spore print.

Sorry about the links I had here before. I uploaded the photos directly on the server here so the pictures appear as thumbnails and no popups get through.

Don't know, but I'm not going to look again, due to the revolting popups that the host site throws up. Please use a different photo host!

he wasn't talking about the site that you posted, he was talking about the popups that come up when he opens the links to my photos. My pop-up blocker catches and prevents them, but i guess his doesn't. I took care of the link situation and uploaded the pix directly to the server here.

Thanks! My popup blocker usually works well, but it didn't on that site.

Unfortunately, I still don't know what the fungi are :-(

If its odour seems like meal, you've found Calocybe gambosa ;)

They had no distinct odor when picked.

To answer another question, the caps were solid and not brittle like a russula.

    Thanks

were the gills waxy or thick?
    what were they growing in?
What color would you say the caps were because they look a little dirty not sure if it's light brown or white-ish. Have you already post on Colorado Myco?
