I have been trying unsuccessfully for months to identify this plant.

As you can see, it sprawls all over the place and I am afraid this is not correct behavior for a healthy plant. Occasionally, leaves fall off and root so I actually have quite a few of these guys floating around. I am worried his 'stems' are going to break off, or he will tip his pot over.

This past year it started growing like mad, the branches twist down and back up again and it started making green spiky things that dry up and fall off in a couple of days (Shown left of center in third picture). New leaves are a very bright, shiny green. (Top center of second picture).

I have been told it is a rubber plant (Ficus elastica), and a jade plant (Crassula argentea), but I already have those, and this guy is very different.

Any ID help you can give so that I can properly care for him would be greatly appreciated! Thank you

    Thank you both :-)

Joclyn, I searched those up, and you hit the nail right on the head. The plant and I both thank you so much!

(Although now I am on a mission to go get some hoya, those are gorgeous too!)
