Identification: unknown house plant , please ID

    i got this plant about 2 years ago . it has grown very little .It came in a basket with a number of other plants i knew , arrowheadvine , prayer plant , i didn't even know this plant was in this basket till i went to replant them all , and this littl 6 " tall odd liiking plant was buried in the middle . Recent a pink leaf poped out the top ... almost a flower but no quite . thank you in advance for your help , feel free to email me at ChrisLeach76@aol.com

    The plant looks like it could be Ardisia crenata (coral berry) a member of the Myrsinaceae native from Japan to northern India. A great houseplant, but a serious invasive in the warmer parts of the United States, including Florida and Hawaii.
