I am not sure if this is a good place to post since I did not find it growing in the wild. I had a florist put together this example bouteneer and I am hoping to figure out what kind of flower the green is. The green is actually the flower, it is on a long stem with a large tuft of the flowers on the top. I want to say she said it was some type of mix with a chrysanthimum but I am not sure. I have not been able to find any matching pictures of this and would like some help identifying it. If anyone has any ideas that would be great.
Welcome cbabe0276. The bud part, reminds me of a green flower called Lisianthus, with the addition of feathery foliage from another plant added to it for effect. http://www.google.co.uk/imgres?imgu...ndsp=26&ved=1t:429,r:1,s:119&biw=1243&bih=528 Are you saying that the green bud and the feathery bit are just a single stem from a single plant. I am a bit confused.
I'm sorry for the confusion. The flower that is tinted green is yes a lisianthus. The green foliage part is actually another flower itself. It isn't just a greenery. That is what I am attempting to identify. Thank you thought about the lisianthus I was trying to remember that one as well!
Right. I understand now. Any chance that you could add a good close up of the feathery one... taken from a different angle, to show more of the top. Maybe petals? Thanks
