    Hi all,

I'm trying to identify this flower that I believe I took a picture of at the San Diego Zoo. I searched through their rather detailed site but came up dry and was wondering if someone could help me out here. I'm hoping to crop, clean, and frame the first image for my own purposes and I'd love to throw the name of the flower (common or scientific) under the image.

Thanks so much in advance for your help.

    Bryan

Hibiscus, many species, many cultivars, so probably difficult to narrow it down from there. Someone here might know it though. Perhaps just 'Orange Hibiscus' for a title. Harry

Ask at the zoo. The plantings are part of the attraction, it is a plant collection as well as a refuge for animals. There should be a horticulturist on staff who can assist you.
