Unknown flower in my bed:)

    The photo attached is of a flower that my daughter bought me several years ago. I can't seem to locate the name of it and I feel really silly calling it the Bailey flower since I know every thing else that I have.

    Its really quite and interesting plant, the flower resembles a thistle and spreads pretty quick!

    Any help would be greatly appreciated!

    Looks like it's probably a Centaurea of some kind? Can't tell you exactly what kind tho. Probably a cultivar...

    A cultivar of Centaurea montana (Perennial Cornflower).
