Unknown fall flowering bush

    Can someone identify this bush? The attached photo was taken on October 4th in Lexington, KY. This bush is about 5 ft high with a drooping habit, spreading to about 10 ft. The leaves in this photo are about 1 inch long.

    My first thought is Lespedeza but you might also look at Indigofera.
