Unknown evergreen shrub

    Anybody know this one? Located in West Vancouver, gardener called it something along the lines of Chocydendron???

    Trochodendron aralioides was also my first thought.

    Several of the leaves are spotted with a chocolate-colored stain. Is this commonly associated with this guy?
