Identification: Unknown Bonsai

I was given this Bonsai as it owner in now in Japan for school. I was not smart enough to ask him for care instructions, or what type of plant it is. I can't get in touch with him, and since it is now my plant I want it to live. So Can anyone tell me what type this might be?

Need a closeup of the leaves. Might be Serissa foetida.

My guess is Serissa foetida 'Mt. Fuji'.
