Identification: unknown blue on the north shore

    -rocky outcrop in the woods, north shore of the Vancouver Lower Mainland, about 2000 feet up -? just last week (june23)

    Im not one of the experts, but I wonder if one of them will say Polemonium or Phlox?

    the basal leaves at the base were almost like a succulent....so I did not think polimonium or phlox
    Trouble on the north shore too is it could be a garden escapee into the wild, dunno still!??

    Claytonia or Montia, perhaps. Montia parvifolia?

    I think that's it!
    Didn't realize there was such variation with this flower, but searching eflora with that name now helped me confirm it.
