alright I will go get some leaf pix next time I am in the vicinity of the plant. any particular parts of the leaf you want to see?
The whole thing, and preferably how the flowers are growing from the plant - if they're upright or pendant, that sort of thing. Based on flowers alone, it reminds me strongly of the Cane begonias (B. coccinea and its hybrids and cultivars)
okidoki, the inflorescence is pendant, i.e. it grew up and then curve over and with the flowers pointing down, but is not drooping down like a pendulum.

Choy, thanks for helping to check for the ID - anyway this is the plant (Rhizomatus type of Begonia).
