Identification: unknow vine

    This plant was given to me by a friend that has since passed.It's about 5 years old,started from a cutting..If anyone knows what it is, please let me know.Thanks . CHEETAH

    Epiphyllium cactus, aka Queen of the Night. If you search these forums for Epiphyllium, you'll find a wealth of good info on care.

    From the look of the foliage structure E. oxpetalum specifically, perhaps the most asked about house plant on internet forums. The large, solitary flowers open at night.

    OK Guys I've looked for both names, and can find nothing for E. Oxpetalum.I looked up Epiphyllum, and its not that and it has never flowered..So.. can anyone else help? Thanks for both your help..

    OK,Ifinally google'd it and the spelling was wrong,but did find it,thanks to all of you for your help..My plant has never flowered, but it is in this family of oxypetalum..Will try to find out what to use for potting soil..Thanks again all...Cheetah
