UNK Kansas dried flowers...

    I often hike in NE Kansas along creeks and such...I've seen this plant several times but was unable to get to it...till today when I went from a different direction. It was growing along a very weak embankment with other weeds but it is the only one of it's kind I've been able to find. Any ideas?

    Hydrangea arborescens maybe? Native in Kansas.

    That's IT! I remember when it was in bloom I thought it resembled a hydrangea.....never even knew we had one native here! Thanx a whole lot Eric!
