I just moved to Germany and a neighbor has given me potted plants. One of them continues to grow two new leaves at a time, which then sprout numerous seeds that fall and grow rapidly. My researching has led me no where in discovering what the plant is. Please help me so I can know if the plant has any uses other than decor.

Looks like Kalanchoe daigremontiana, 'Mother of Thousands'.

Thank you so much for telling me the species name. And very thankful to be told the poisonous character of it. I'll definitely do more research to find out more about the poisonous state of the plant.
