I have just moved into a new home in toronto ontario and the yard has these big trees ( about 30 feet high) with small branches and white and dark burgundy berries. I have no idea what they are, but my dog loves to eat the berries.

Can someone please help me identify them?

    I have attached photos.

    Thanks

It's a mulberry, probably white mulberry (Morus alba)

Agree with White Mulberry. The fruit are edible, though not as tasty as Red Mulberry or Black Mulberry.

Note: listed as an invasive weed in some regions, not sure if this applies to Ontario though.
