Two weeks ago I bought a jade plant from a local pet and seed store. I keep him a few feet away from a west facing window in my bedroom and I've watered him twice now, waiting until the soil was completely dry before I did so. The second time I tried watering him from the bottom, placing him in a bowl of water and letting him soak until the top of the soil was damp. I don't know anything about the soil or what have you seeing as they repotted him for me at the store. His leaves were already thin and droopy when i got him and some of the leaves near the middle started turning brown, shriveling, and falling off. I noticed this and decided to pinch off the ones that were brown. (which is why he looks so empty in the middle) The leaves near the bottom, though, are plump and firm, definitely more so than they used to be. Except now, those ones are browning too, as well as where the center leaves used to be (I don't know what the word is for that haha) Nothing is mushy or anything like that. I've read a lot about them online and I can't seem to find any similar situation. Please help, I'm new to this and I have no idea what to do!
