    Hi,

The attached image shows the tree in my front yard that am unable to identify. This tree has always been a flowering tree every year including this year i.e. it produced flowers during the sprint but now I see green fruits that are turning purple and some dark red. Could anyone please help in identifying this tree?

An Orchard Plum Prunus domestica. The fruit will be ripe for eating in around 2 weeks to a month from now (give or take a bit depending on weather).
