Wildflowers: Two wildflowers from Colorado

    Can anybody help with ID for these two plants? I think the first one might be a Senecio, maybe fremontii. Photos from Independence Pass, Colorado, in July. Scanned from old slides, hence the poor image quality.

    Yes, could very well be. Any idea about species? Independence Pass sits at an elevation of 12,095 ft (3,687 m), so it belongs in the alpine zone.
