Hello, This is my first post over here! I'm very glad I found this site! :) I hope someone can help me to identify the following plants I met during a trip to Brazil in Jan-Febr. 2010 Both were growing in the wild in a rainforest environment in the region of Paraty.. The first one looks like belonging to the Fabaceae family, the leaves had a beautiful pale blue-green colour and felt silky to the touch, unfortunately I don't have a picture of an open flower which appears to be yellow.. I will post the second one in another thread as I cannot add more pictures in this one. Thank you! Myriam
Just to let you know that my English friend (Janet Rowley) has found its ID! :) The plant is: Chamaecrista desvauxii var. latistipula http://rubens-plantasdobrasil.blogspot.com/2010/10/chamaecrista-desvauxii-var-latistipula.html
