I have two plants that I am not sure what they are. One of them I have had about a year, for about 9 months it didn't grow much and then it started to really grow and I planted it in a larger pot, it seems to be really liking that. I went on vacation for 2 weeks and it lost all but one branch and was a twig for a few months with just one branch with 2 leaves. Eventually it grew back the rest and as you can see now, its really going strong. It used to have branches all the way down the stem/trunk , however since losing its branches it sort of only has them at the top. Two new stem/trunks are growing at the bottom, and are about 5 inches and 2 inches. This plant is about two feet tall right now, and the widest branches are about 2 feet wide as well. Each branch has about 3-4 branch lings that contain about 5 leaves each on their own branch. (lots of branching lol) can anyone help identify this? The leaves are very glossy looking, however they are pretty thin. At the top you can see the new branches starting, they remind me of birds foot...if you use your imagination. The second plant is a succulent / cacti, I bought it last week as it was very exotic looking. Upon its arrival it started looking droopy and several of the long "shoots" with the small bell-like things, dried up, so I cut them off. Also some of the spotted "leaves" shriveled up too, So i cut them back. This plant has a sappy / sticky type goo when you gut the leaves. Any ideas what this thing is and how to take care of it? I have other succulents that I just leave in sunlight and mist with a spray bottle each morning. Im new to this gardening hobby and I really enjoy it, would like to know what plants I have and keep them looking good! thanks!
Definitely looks like a China Doll to me. I don't think they're toxic to cats but I don't really know. I don't know what your succulent is but it's a pretty plant, I'd be interested in knowing the name.
