    Can anyone identify these?

My sister sent me pictures of two plants from her garden in the Sechelt (British Columbia, "sunshine coast") area. She apologizes for the poor quality .. her camera wasn't working and she had to use her phone camera. The second species is clear but that first one will be a challenge.

2 - With this leaf size and colouration it looks more like Chenopodium giganteum to me (or, may be, a cross between the two?).

Hmm .. we had the right genus but I think you may be correct about the species. Thank you for your reply.
