These are not new trees, but I'm sure I've never seen them. I am surprised that I've never even posted Paulownia tomentosa here, but there are a lot of those around town, common name Princess Tree. And they're finished blooming now. There is a Botany Photo of the Day on Paulownia tomentosa var. tsinlingensis | Botany Photo of the Day (ubc.ca).

Here's today's surprising sight from the parking lot:

On the left is P. kawakamii; on the right, P. fargesii. The currently white-flowered P. fargesii is supposed to have started with purple flowers. Here's a page that describes the differences between these two and distinguishes them from P. tomentosa: Paulownia fargesii - Trees and Shrubs Online.

Here is the Paulownia fargesii, which is at the end of its blooming.

And Paulownia kawakamii. And a bee that is probably still there, seemingly having died and gone to heaven.

And Paulownia kawakamii, which is particularly fruit-laden.
