    Good day;
    As I mentioned when enquring about another hibiscus on this forum yesterday, we moved into this house 3 years ago which had 3 established hibiscus bushes. The one I enquired about yesterday was named "Lady Stanley" by one of the contributers. Thank you again.
    The second bush in question is over 8ft tall and is about 10 yrs or so old.
    I had spent quite a bit of time on the internet using various sources including "World of Hibiscus" and thought it might be "Collie Mullens"
    The other bush, which is probably only about 5 yrs old, is about 5ft tall and through research, thought it might be "Blue Satin".
    Any thoughts on whether or not my "picks" are right or not?
    Thank you again for any assistance

    Blue variety probably more likely to be an older one like 'Oiseau Bleu'. Compare with labeled specimens thought to be correctly identified to find out which you have. Note that more than just the two single blue cultivars have been named, Bailey nursery in Minnesota for instance has also selected one recently.

    This is true of the species in general, there are multiple cultivars going back many years so one found to look similar to a particular unlabeled specimen won't necessarily be the same exact introduction. It's not as bad as with iris, hostas or daylilies but there still is often more than one cultivar of the same type.
